Research

 

I am interested in conducting research in areas related with image processing , machine learning, computer vision, artificial intelligence and medical image processing. I am specially interests in biologically inspired ideas like genetic algorithms and artificial neural networks, and their soft-computing applications. Recently, I have been involved in solving image/video restoration problems using neuro-fuzzy techniques, homogeneous and heterogeneous combination of classifiers using genetic progemming, optimization of shaping functions in digital watermarking and image fusion. Currently, I am working in these fields
